I like this sweater.

In a closet at my Grandfather’s house, I saw this dress. I thought it might fit, so I tried it on and was able to get into it just barely. As well as being an teacher and artist, my Grandmother was quite the seamstress. I really like the eyelet and ruching in the front.

Found a new sushi place.

I bought this skirt because of this little detail, a fringe of tulle along the hem. I am such a girl.

I was skyping with my older sister—the translation grad student—showing her the books I had purchased in preparation for learning Spanish.

Yeah, I played around a bit with the tones in Photoshop. I don’t intend for this project to feature many self portraits, however, today I wore my first bantu knot-out.

On top of and inside this chest of drawers was were two old photographs of my grandmother Bessie Ruth (1920-2008). The bottom right photo is dated April 1984.

I need to frame these properly.
